DONALD TRUMP, AN UNUSUAL PHENOMENON
By Dr. Gali Zubier, Western Sahara
Regardless of whether we support or oppose US President Donald Trump, we have to acknowledge that he is a singular figure in global politics who will be the subject of years of exploration and analysis by political scientists.
Donald Trump is not insane. He is undoubtedly a prosperous businessman who has long operated on a broad scale in a highly competitive environment. In addition, he has garnered the support and endorsement of millions of Americans for two consecutive terms as president, which is uncommon in American presidential election history.
The decisions of President Trump are frequently surprising, as they are marked by decisiveness and courage. He is a unique politician who does not understand half-solutions, walks directly and firmly toward his declared and hidden goals, and does not concern himself with his reactions.
Prioritizing his election campaign slogan over keeping his promises to the American people, President Trump defies international law and treaties.
Whether during his campaign, inauguration, or post-election, President Trump’s body language, tone of voice, and vocabulary were all distinctive and out of character for someone who controls the most powerful nations in the world in terms of politics, economy, and military might.
Many anticipate that President Trump’s foreign policy will focus on economic benefits for American citizens who supported his program. This includes reviewing foreign aid to crooked countries like Morocco for transparency and accountability. Although Morocco uses tactics like clandestine immigration, drugs, and terrorism to influence European neighbors, it lacks similar leverage over the United States.
The new US president has taken various actions in his initial weeks in office, including opening secret files on past assassinations, rejecting certain social changes, and implementing new policies, which could reshape the world map by the end of his term.
